Smart Call Forwarding is the most powerful feature on n.Pbx. This feature uses inbound and outbound channels even for internal calls (between users). Therefore, accounts with unlimited calling plans may or may not work with this feature.

Here are video tutorials on how to set up nomado’s hosted IP PBX (n.Pbx) features.

Setting the Time Group Features

  1. On the n.Pbx, go to Features > Times and Dates.
  2. Create the Time Period by clicking on New.
    • Enter the name of the Time Period.
    • Set the time – in the video, I set it at 8 am to 4:59:59. but you can also set it at exactly 5:00:00
    • Choose the days you want the time period active. Leave the other options as it is. Then Save.
  3. Activate the Time Group to the Phone Number.
On the n.Pbx, go to Features > Phone numbers.

  • Set the Time Routes by going to the bottom of the page.
  • Click on Add a Time Route, and choose the Time Group you created.
  • Direct the system on how the calls would behave when the time period is active.

You can set to forward the calls to a specific number, or to a Hunt Group. In this video, I want all the calls to specific numbers to be answered by our Sales Team.

  • Click Save and do some test calls.

Receive Simultaneous Calls with Hunt Group

  1. On the n.Pbx, go to Features > Hunt Group.
    • Enter a Name to your Hunt Group.
    • Set the ring level. A 10 second ring time gives 3 rings.
    • Allow destinations to forward calls. Set it to YES.
  2. Add the destinations
    • Choose Number if you want your non-nomado/ external number, like mobile number, to receive calls.
    • Choose Telephone Line if you want the nomado phone users to receive calls.
  3. Activate the Hunt Group to the Phone Number.
On the n.Pbx, go to Features > Phone numbers.

  • Look for “Route Call To:”.
  • On Default Destinations: Choose Hunt Group.
  • Select the hunt group created.
  • Click Save and do some test calls.
