How do I configure my own SIP device
Nomado SIP parameters as should be used in general to be successfull:
Register name = Nomado sip-username
Register password = Nomado sip-password
These parameters are used to register yourself at Nomado, often called Authentification.
Do not register with your DID number, that won't work.
Nomado registration server = sip.nomado.eu
Nomado proxy = sip.nomado.eu
Nomado outbound proxy = sip.nomado.eu
Nomado sip port: 5060
Nomado rtp port (single port): 16384
(or pick any number out of the range below)
Nomado rtp port (range of ports): 10000~20000
If your device has the option to pick a random number, turn this feature on and set the range.
Nomado STUN: stun01.sipphone.com
However, you can use any open Stun you like as it's only used to solve firewall problems during registering.
If you have no problems registering without STUN then you don't need to use the STUN.
Preferred codec: G711u (G729 also working)
DTMF methode: In-band (if you have problems sending them)
Nat setting: Turn on (if you have such a setting and use a router)
To test your router, please install the 3CX softhpone (Windows XP, Vista, 7) and call 444 when you hear yourself the router is working properly.
To test registration, call your DID and if it rings the router is configure correctly.
That's it.
