NOKIA  CONFIGURATION FOR SIP ACCOUNT SETTING

REMARK : Some Nokia phones have hidden voip settings by default, to unhide it, you have to download Nokia's VoIP SiP Aplication. Download the Nokia  SIP VoIP Settings Application here : http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/d476061e-90ca-42e9-b3ea-1a852f3808ec/SIP_VoIP_Settings.html 

On the dropdown, click on SIP VoIP 3.x Settings 

Download the application.

Nokia Mobile SIP Account Settings

Configure your nomado account on a mobile phone

STEP 1

Go to Tools / Settings / Connection / SIP settings. Create the following profile 

Profile Name: Nomado  

Profile: IETF Default 

Access point: (your WLAN AP name) 

Public user name: 3686****@sip.nomado.eu   (take note that 3686**** is your Nomado SIP Username sent on your email)

Use Compression: No 

Registration: "Always on " 

Use Security: No

 STEP 2

Proxy Server Address: sip.nomado.eu

Registrar Server: sip.nomado.eu

Realm: sip.nomado.eu

User Name: 3686**** (Nomado SIP Username)

STEP 3

Enter the following for Registrar Server settings 

Registrar Server: sip.nomado.eu  (When recorded your phone will show sip: sip.nomado.eu  ) 

Realm: sip.nomado.eu  

User Name: 3686**** (Use the Nomado Internal Number sent on your email ) 

Password: Enter the password sent to you together with the Nomado SIP Username. 

Transport Type: UDP 

Port: 5060 

STEP 4

Go to Tools / Settings / Connection / Internet Tel. Settings 

Create a new profile for "nomado. "(3686****), name it "Nomado" 

Choose "Nomado" as Preferred profile

Name - Enter the following name Nomado and Press OK

SIP profiles - Select Nomado  and Press OK

Press OK

STEP 5

Select Call to set some of the calling features.

Scroll through the different settings to configure the following features.

o Name - Enter the following name NOMADO

o Send my net call ID - Select YES

o Internet call waiting - Select Activated

o Internet call alert - Select On

o Default call type - Select Internet (Note :Regardless of this setting, creating a call with the call key will automatically create a cellular call if the Internet service is not available)

Click on "Profile Settings" and find "Allow VoIP over WCDMA" option and change it to "ON" This change allows VoIP over 3G connection on Nokia phones.

Press Back and Exit to return to the main screen.

Reboot your phone. Once your phone is back on it will automatically register to Nomado.

Once it is registered you can start making calls.

Default call type: To switch between normal GSM calls or VOIP calls, navigate to Tools / Settings / Call / Default call type. Select Cellular to make normal calls to the phone number or Internet to use VoIP to call the number or address

STUN can be fixed ( if needed ) on the e63/e71 with the utility named ( SIP_VoIP_Settings_v1_2_en.SIS ) which  allows you to configure the hidden settings. Many providers don’t need the fix because they presume that the user is behind NAT. We find that configuring STUN helps in some of the edge cases like double NAT-in. to install ( SIP_VoIP_Settings_v1_2_en.SIS )
